Pimp C was a rapper from the south, with a style called "Dirty South".
Pimp C's first record deal was with Jive Records. He soon started getting more and more popular by doing some songs with Jay-Z and the Three-Six Mafia.
Soon after he started enjoying musical success he was arrested and put into jail, for a aggravated assault, and not completing the community service. He served about four years, and then was released on December 30th, 2005.
After he got out he invested in Trill Entertainment, a new record label, ready for launch.
He soon afterwards released his new album "Pimpalation". In 2007 his new DVD came out called "The Best of Both Worlds", which he worked on with Pimpin' Ken.
